International Production Manager
Tara is a Film Writer, Director, and International Production Manager. She completed her BA in Film Studies at the University of Warwick in 2016 and earned an MA in Directing at Met Film School, UK, in 2018. She works full-time as a freelance filmmaker, creating films, adverts, music videos, and documentaries.
Her short film The Shadow of Cairo has screened at over a dozen Oscar-qualifying and other international festivals, including Cinequest and the New York International Children’s Film Festival, where it was a Jury Award finalist. Alone With You, her latest short, premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Narrative Short and later screened at other festivals.
In Dubai, Tara has been involved in shoots that range from intimate documentary segments to high-end commercial productions. She has experience coordinating projects that make use of the city’s iconic backdrops and fast-moving environment. Her work often focuses on narratives that capture the energy and diversity of the UAE.
